Hello!,

I am Karin Durand, jewelry designer and funder of Petra di Monte.

I was born in Chile, where I began my first incursion -then, as a hobby- in the world of jewelry design. It was a great way to cope with the stress of my years working as a wealth management advisor.

I have fifteen years of experience in the design of bohemian and boho chic jewelry. My primary source of inspiration is Mother Earth. Her colors, textures and the wide variety of organic materials that she kindly share with us, has been a greatest spark for my creations.

In 2012 I left Santiago de Chile and I started a new chapter of my life. I lived in USA, Turkey and Cyprus; and I traveled to many other places around the world. All those marvelous experiences let me learn and appreciate the unique beauty and significance in each bead.
